With the premiere of Fall television beginning last night with “Outlander” more and more information is being leaked. Let’s take a look at some stories that have broken over the last few days!

Peter Capaldi Might Not Reprise His Role As The Doctor
While at San Francisco Comic Con, Peter Capaldi was asked by a fan if he would return to the show for a multi-Doctor episode. He had this to say, ” “I think when you should go, you should go. Even when I was a kid I believed [the Doctor] was this weird and wonderful thing, so if he kept showing up all the time in Big Finish or in multi Doctor stories he was more available.”
He then went on to say that he doesn’t know if he will return, but it wouldn’t be right away.
I was honestly surprised to hear this for several reasons. First, Peter Capaldi personally invited Nicholas Briggs to the set of his regeneration sequence (a friend of mine met both of them that day). With Briggs being the Executive Producer of everything at Big Finish Productions, I assumed that there was discussions that day about Capaldi’s transition to Big Finish.
Which is something I have begged for, many times on this site alone. Honestly, that was Capaldi’s Doctor’s chance to have some well-written stories and to have a chance to shine. After how they fixed Colin Baker’s Sixth Doctor, I was excited to see what they did with Twelve.
And now there’s a chance we will never know.
2.”Class” Is Cancelled
Not surprised.
It was tentatively cancelled before it had finished airing in the United States (it aired about six months earlier in the UK). But last week, “Class” officially got the ax.
According to BBC Three boss Damian Kavanagh, it just didn’t land with BBC Three and it won’t be returning.
Showrunner Patrick Ness announced in June that he wouldn’t be writing for “Class” even if it got renewed. Upon hearing the official cancellation news, he tweeted to fans of the show.

3. Barry and Iris Will Get Married In Season 4
You read that right. We will see the long-awaited wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West sometime in Season 4.
But there’s a catch.
Due to Barry not consulting Iris and walking into the Speedforce to save the city in the season finale, there’s some issues that need to be resolved between the couple before they say “I do.”
I’ve also heard there’s issues regarding Barry wanting to return as the leader of Team Flash, taking the position back from Iris (for my opinion on that development, see an earlier article).
That means the pair will spend some time in couple’s counseling. I’m curious how that is going to work considering they can’t actually discuss a lot of their issues due to most of them involving Barry’s secret identity.
We will see.
4. Supergirl Will Lead This Season’s Four-Part Crossover
According to Entertainment Weekly, Alex and Kara Danvers will be central to the upcoming four-part crossover.
“Kara and Alex are at the center of it through all four hours. One of the things we’ve been doing a lot this season is getting back to Season 1 and really making it Danvers sisters-centric, so a lot of what’s going on this season is Kara and Alex doing things in tandem, and the crossover won’t be any different.”
Supergirl usually doesn’t get to crossover with the others shows as much due to her being on an alternate Earth from the other three. Does that mean that the crossover takes place on her Earth or that she once again comes over to “Earth 1.”
I’ll let you know as soon as I do.
5. Timeless To Begin Filming In November
This story still amuses me so much. When a show comes back from cancellation like this one did, you can’t help but wonder what surprises they have in store for the upcoming season.
Season 2 is set to begin filming in November and will premiere in 2018.
